In Q4 2022, the top 5 business games in South Africa showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. These games include Idle Lumber Empire - Wood Game, Grand Hotel Mania: Management, Bid Wars 2 – Pawn Shop Tycoon, Hotel Craze® Design Makeover, and The Office: Somehow We Manage.
Idle Lumber Empire - Wood Game from AppQuantum Publishing Ltd experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.9K in early October. Weekly downloads showed a significant spike to 3.8K in the same week, while weekly active users saw a decline from 8.2K to approximately 4.6K by the end of December.
Grand Hotel Mania: Management by MY.GAMES B.V. had a modest weekly revenue, reaching up to $531 in mid-December. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 314 in mid-October. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 2.1K in late October.

Weekly downloads also saw an upward trend, reaching 3.3K in the first week of December. The game maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, peaking at 9.5K in early December.
Hotel Craze® Design Makeover by TECHVISION PTE. LTD. had consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $316 in mid-October. However, weekly downloads and active users were minimal, with downloads peaking at 10 in early December and active users around 78 in late September.
The Office: Somehow We Manage from Eastside Games showed fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $406 in the final week of December. Weekly downloads were low, with a peak of 34 in mid-December, while weekly active users steadily declined from 308 to 174 by the end of the quarter.
