During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top consumer finance apps in Hungary demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the trends for each app.
OTP Bank HU saw consistent weekly downloads, ranging from around 9K to 12K. The app's downloads peaked at 12.3K in mid-October. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 565K and seeing a slight decline to around 502K by the end of December.
K&H mobilbank maintained stable download numbers, mostly between 2.3K and 3.5K per week. Its active user base remained relatively steady, beginning the quarter with around 121K and ending with approximately 117K active users.
George Magyarország experienced a consistent weekly download rate, fluctuating between 2.3K and 3.2K. The app's active user count hovered around 48K to 51K, with a minor decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing at about 46K.
myRaiffeisen showed steady download trends, with weekly downloads ranging from 1.1K to 2.2K. The highest download numbers were recorded in early October with approximately 2.2K downloads.
MBH Bank App (korábban Takarék) also maintained consistent download numbers, fluctuating between 1.5K and 2.2K per week. The active user base for this app remained stable, starting at around 23K and ending the quarter with approximately 23K active users.
