The final quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends for the top five game apps on a unified platform in Ireland. According to Sensor Tower, these apps—Candy Crush Saga, Roblox, 咸鱼之王, Coin Master, and Clash of Clans—showcased different patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Candy Crush Saga from King experienced a relatively stable revenue trend, peaking at around $74K in late September and maintaining figures between $50K and $60K through December. Weekly downloads saw a significant rise towards the end of December, reaching approximately 3.5K. Active users remained steady, fluctuating around the 55K to 56K range.
Roblox by Roblox Corporation displayed a robust increase in weekly revenue, culminating in about $81K in the last week of December. Downloads surged significantly, with a peak of 20.3K in the same week. Active users increased from around 267K at the start of October to nearly 300K by the end of December.
咸鱼之王 from Hortor Games showed a mixed performance. The app's revenue peaked at approximately $27K in mid-November but dropped to negligible values in December. Downloads were minimal, with a peak of 39 in mid-November. Active users peaked at 60 in mid-November, declining to around 32 by the end of December.
Coin Master by Moon Active had a consistent revenue stream, peaking at around $62K in late November. Downloads showed a gradual increase, with a noticeable rise to approximately 1.3K in the last two weeks of December. Active users stayed relatively stable, hovering around the 12K range.
Clash of Clans from Supercell demonstrated fluctuations in revenue, peaking at about $29K in early October and late November. Downloads were highest in early October, reaching around 1.8K. Active users remained consistently high, averaging around 215K to 220K throughout the quarter.
