Throughout Q4 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on a unified platform in the United States demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Progressive saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, ranging from approximately 93K to 124K. The highest number of downloads was recorded in the week of October 31. Active users for this app remained relatively stable, oscillating between 1.26M and 1.37M, with a notable peak in mid-December.
State Farm® experienced a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads varying from around 72K to 97K. The last week of December marked the highest downloads. Weekly active users also showed a steady trend, rising from 502K to 561K over the quarter, peaking in the final week.
GEICO Mobile - Car Insurance maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 55K and 68K. Active users for this app showed a slight decline from 1.03M at the beginning of the quarter to around 974K by the end of December.
Drive Safe & Save™ showed varied download numbers, ranging from 52K to 74K, with the highest downloads occurring in the week of October 24. Active users for this app remained robust, ranging from 2.51M to 2.68M, with a peak in mid-December.
Sydney Health observed a significant increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads surged from about 37K to 95K, with the highest downloads in the last week of December. Active users showed a strong upward trend, starting at 143K and reaching over 212K by the end of the quarter.
