State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the fourth quarter of 2022, Brazil's top 5 shopping applications showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look at how these apps fared during this period.
SHEIN - Shopping Online saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 1M in early November, with a notable increase from around 591K at the end of September. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, rising from approximately 12.6M to a peak of around 15.1M in early November before slightly declining towards the end of the year.
Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero experienced a consistent performance in terms of weekly downloads, peaking at around 698K at the beginning of November. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 23.8M in early November, though there was a slight decline towards the end of December, ending the quarter with around 21.5M active users.
Mercado Libre: Compras Online maintained a steady weekly download rate, peaking at around 494K in early November. The app's active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, fluctuating around the 20.9M to 21.6M mark.
Americanas: Compras Online saw significant spikes in weekly downloads, especially in mid-December, reaching approximately 656K. The active users also saw a substantial increase, peaking at around 15.5M in late November, before ending the quarter with around 10.2M active users.
Magalu: compras com descontos showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 449K in late November. The app's active users also rose significantly, peaking at around 7.2M in late November, though there was a slight decline towards the end of December, ending the quarter with around 4.8M active users.
