The first quarter of 2023 revealed interesting trends for the top 5 2D cartoon games on the Android platform in France. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of Royal Match, Triple Tile: Match Puzzle Game, Candy Crush Saga, Logic Puzzles - Brain Riddles, and Coin Master.
Royal Match from Dream Games, Ltd. experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $258.6K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 41K. Meanwhile, the app's active user base grew steadily, culminating in about 350.6K weekly active users by the end of March.
Triple Tile: Match Puzzle Game from Tripledot Studios Limited had a varied performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 25K and 51K. The game maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users peaking at approximately 150.9K in early February.
Logic Puzzles - Brain Riddles from Easybrain showed a rapid increase in weekly downloads, reaching around 69.2K in mid-February. The game’s weekly active users also grew significantly, peaking at about 115.5K by the end of March. Revenue trends, however, remained modest, with the highest weekly revenue recorded at $97 in the third week of February.
Coin Master from Moon Active maintained strong weekly revenue, consistently bringing in around $880K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads remained steady, averaging around 22K. The game also retained a stable active user base, with approximately 109K weekly active users by the end of March.
Candy Crush Saga from King showed impressive revenue figures, peaking at approximately $533.5K in the second week of January. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of about 42.7K in early January. The game sustained a large active user base, averaging around 487.3K weekly active users by the end of March.
