In the first quarter of 2023, the adventure game category on Android in Madagascar showcased some interesting trends. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 adventure games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Super Bino Go saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 629 in late December and dropping to around 313 by the end of March. The weekly active users also followed a downward trend, with numbers decreasing from approximately 2.7K to 2K during the same period.
Cover Fire experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, hovering between 300 and 450 throughout the quarter. Active users showed resilience, maintaining a consistent range from about 1.7K to 1.9K.
Evil Lands had modest weekly download figures, starting the quarter with 199 and ending with 129. Active users saw a decline from around 293 to 217 over the same period. The game maintained a consistent weekly revenue of $2.
The Legend of Neverland experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 163 and dipping to 81 by the end of March. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 313 and ending at 227. Revenue peaked at $15 in mid-March before settling around $9 by the end of the quarter.
Genshin Impact had the highest revenue among the top 5, peaking at $856 in early February. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 65 and 124. Active users also showed stability, maintaining a range from approximately 1.2K to 1.3K throughout the quarter.
