During the first quarter of 2023, the top five food and diet tracking apps on the Android platform in Brazil showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their metrics:
168 Intermittent Fasting App from Leap Fitness Group experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.7K in early January. Weekly downloads saw a high of around 44K in the first week of January, but gradually declined to around 23K by the end of March. Active users peaked at about 454K in the week of January 9 and then saw a steady decline, reaching approximately 332K by the end of the quarter.
BMI Calculator by Appovo had an impressive spike in weekly downloads, reaching over 167K in mid-January, before stabilizing to a range of 4K to 24K towards the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at around 209K in January and stabilizing to approximately 42K by the end of March.
Nutrito - Calorie Counter from Leal Apps maintained steady weekly revenue, with a peak of around $3.8K in mid-January. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 22K and 34K throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 111K to 125K, showing consistent engagement from its user base.
Water Tracker: Water Reminder by QR & Barcode Scanner saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 33K in mid-March. Active users also saw significant growth, starting from about 9K in late December to nearly 77K by the end of March, indicating increasing user engagement over the quarter.
Calorie Counter by FatSecret showed steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.5K in mid-March. Weekly downloads started strong at about 25K in early January but gradually declined to around 8.7K by the end of March. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, ranging from approximately 85K to 126K.
