In Q1 2023, the top 5 paid games on the Android platform in Ireland displayed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a glimpse into the performance of these popular titles.
Geometry Dash Lite saw a stable trend in its weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in late December and ending Q1 with approximately 802 downloads. The active user base hovered around 15.5K initially, experiencing a slight dip mid-quarter but recovering to around 13.4K by the end of March.
For Pou, weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.1K and ending the quarter at 573. The game's revenue saw a peak of $85 in late February, despite generally low earnings throughout the quarter. Active users showed a similar pattern, with a peak of 17.4K in mid-March, before settling at about 15.1K by the end of the quarter.
Red Ball 4 maintained steady weekly downloads, averaging around 500, with a slight increase to 575 by the end of March. Revenue was modest, peaking at $53 at the start of the quarter but generally staying below $30. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 6.3K and ending at 5.7K.
Minecraft showed a decline in weekly downloads from 1.3K at the start of the quarter to just 81 by the end. Revenue similarly decreased, starting at $5.5K and ending the quarter at $2.9K. Despite this, the game maintained a robust active user base, peaking at 38.9K and ending the quarter with about 37.7K.
Lastly, Pepi Hospital: Learn & Care had consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 300. Revenue peaked at $8 in late February but generally remained low. The active user base showed a slight increase from 2.4K at the beginning of the quarter to around 2.2K by the end.
