In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of the top Play Pass games on Android in Portugal showcased varying trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these games fared:
The Battle of Polytopia from Midjiwan AB experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 259 in early March. The game’s weekly revenue also showed a general upward trend, reaching approximately $51 in the week of February 20. Weekly active users saw a consistent rise, climbing from 572 at the start of the quarter to 839 by the end.
LEGO® DUPLO® WORLD by StoryToys had a notable peak in weekly downloads at 379 in mid-February. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $72 in the week of March 20. Active users for this game saw a decline from 518 at the beginning of January to 337 by the end of March.
Night of the Full Moon from Giant Network showed a significant drop in weekly downloads from 67 in mid-January to 17 by the end of March. The game’s revenue had a peak of $81 in early January but then dropped to $0 from mid-February onwards. Active user numbers also decreased from 112 in mid-January to 46 by the end of the quarter.
Kingdom Rush Tower Defense TD by Ironhide Games saw a significant increase in weekly downloads towards the end of March, reaching 305. Revenue for the game peaked at $30 in mid and late March. The number of active users also increased significantly, from 1030 at the start of the quarter to 1325 by the end.
Lastly, Northgard from Playdigious had a peak in weekly downloads at 42 in mid-February, but numbers declined to just 4 by the end of March. Revenue also saw a peak of $32 at the end of January but dropped to $0 by the end of March.
