In Q1 2023, the top 5 snake games on Android in the US exhibited a range of performances in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on insights from Sensor Tower.
Crazy Snake - Web3 Snake Game from Luogame saw its weekly revenue peak at around $6.5K in mid-January, but it experienced a gradual decline, ending March with approximately $2.2K. Downloads began in early January with a notable 2K in the week of January 16, but subsequently dropped to zero for the rest of the quarter.
SSSnaker by Habby, launched in March, made a remarkable entry with weekly revenues soaring to about $53.7K in the last week of March. Downloads were also impressive, peaking at 85.3K in the first week and slightly declining to 62.6K in the last week. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 55.3K to 94.3K by the end of the month.
Snake Rivals - Fun Snake Game from Supersolid had a steady performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated around $1K-$2.5K, with the highest being $2.5K in early January. Downloads ranged from 825 to 2.9K, peaking in mid-March. Active users exhibited a slight decline initially but recovered to around 8.4K by the end of March.
Little Big Snake from Shockwave LLC maintained consistent weekly revenue around $1K-$1.3K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 2.5K per week. Active users showed a gradual increase, reaching 9.5K by the end of March.
Worms Zone .io - Hungry Snake by CASUAL AZUR GAMES saw its weekly revenue rise to approximately $1.3K in mid-March. Downloads peaked at 11.6K in late January and remained strong throughout the quarter. Active users peaked at around 70.2K in mid-March, showing a significant engagement.
