During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 space games on the Android platform in Luxembourg showcased intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Space shooter - Galaxy attack from 1SOFT experienced notable fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $129 in the week of January 30 and then declining to approximately $10 by the end of March. The game saw a steady increase in weekly downloads in January, reaching 190 in the week of January 23. However, downloads slightly decreased to 124 by the end of March. Weekly active users increased from 799 at the start of the quarter to a peak of 1.05K in early March, before slightly declining to 867 by the end of the quarter.
Solar Smash by Paradyme Games maintained a consistent performance in weekly downloads, with a peak of 109 in the week of January 9. However, downloads decreased to 62 by the end of March. The game also showed a decline in weekly active users from 294 at the beginning of the quarter to 204 by the end of March.
Mighty DOOM from Bethesda Softworks LLC, released in late March, saw a strong start with weekly revenue reaching $141 in the week of March 20. Downloads surged from just 1 in mid-March to 322 by the week of March 20, before slightly dropping to 224 in the final week of the quarter. Active users increased from 215 to 313 during the same period.
Alien Invasion: RPG Idle Space by CrazyLabs LTD saw modest weekly revenue, peaking at $59 in the week of February 13. Weekly downloads were highest in mid-February at 70 but decreased to 20 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 98 in mid-February and declining to 56 by the end of the quarter.
Galaxiga Arcade Shooting Game from 1SOFT showed consistent weekly revenue, with minor fluctuations, peaking at $42 in mid-January. Downloads increased steadily throughout the quarter, reaching 52 in the final week of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 158 and ending at 167 by the end of the quarter.
