In the first quarter of 2023, the top five lifestyle apps on the iOS platform in the United States exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Throughout Q1 2023, weekly downloads for Pinterest ranged from approximately 216K to 298K. The highest downloads were observed in the final week of December with around 299K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between approximately 30.8M and 31.5M. The highest active user count was in the first week of January.
Zillow Real Estate & Rentals saw a consistent trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 147K in mid-March. Active users steadily increased from approximately 2.7M in late December to about 2.8M in mid-January, maintaining this level throughout the quarter.
Amazon Alexa experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads from around 445K in late December to approximately 97K by the end of March. Active users also saw a downward trend, decreasing from about 4.2M in late December to around 3.6M by the end of the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained a steady weekly download rate, averaging around 130K to 140K. The app's weekly revenue showed strong performance, peaking at approximately $7.2M in late December. Active users fluctuated between approximately 4.3M and 4.6M throughout the quarter.
Ring - Always Home saw weekly downloads range from about 106K to 263K, with the highest downloads in the last week of December. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating between approximately 4.2M and 4.4M throughout the quarter.
