The first quarter of 2023 saw varied performance trends among the top 5 educational games in Brazil. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user data, sourced from Sensor Tower.
Toca Boca World experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $146.5K in early January and ending at around $51K by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a similar downward trend, with numbers decreasing from about 214.7K to 149.6K over the quarter. Active users also decreased, from over 3.2M in early January to roughly 2.5M by the end of March.
Sago Mini World: Kids Games saw a slight drop in weekly revenue, starting at around $5.5K in early January and ending at approximately $4.2K by the end of March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 4.5K and 5.6K. Active users showed a gradual decline from about 57.6K to 42K throughout the quarter.
Animal Jam maintained a consistent weekly revenue, ranging from $459 to $927, with a slight peak in the final week of March at approximately $899. Weekly downloads saw a slight decrease, starting at 2.9K in early January and ending at 1.7K by the end of March. Active users also trended downwards, from around 8.5K to 5.9K over the quarter.
Baby Panda World: Kids Games showed stable weekly revenue, fluctuating between $937 and $1.5K. Weekly downloads remained strong, peaking at around 71.5K in mid-February before settling at approximately 56.6K by the end of March. Active users saw a slight decrease, from about 939.7K in late January to roughly 834K by the end of March.
Bebi: Baby Games for 2-4y kids experienced an increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $420 in early January and climbing to approximately $1.3K by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, from about 11.7K to 5.8K over the quarter. Active users also decreased, from around 57.5K in early January to about 40.8K by the end of March.
