In the first quarter of 2023, the top five fitness and weight loss programs on a unified platform in Russia showed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:
Fitness App: Gym Workout Plan from ITPlus LLC experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $8.2K in late January. Weekly downloads saw a substantial rise early in the quarter, reaching 14.8K in the week of January 9, while weekly active users climbed from 15K to nearly 28K by mid-January before stabilizing.
Calorie Counter by FatSecret showed strong weekly download numbers, peaking at over 58K in mid-January. The app's weekly revenue peaked at approximately $5.4K in late January. Active users saw a notable increase, starting from 270K and reaching over 516K by the end of March.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet from YAZIO GmbH had a stable performance with weekly revenue fluctuating around $3K to $4.7K. Weekly downloads peaked at about 19.5K in late January, while weekly active users increased consistently, reaching nearly 284K by the end of the quarter.
Lifesum: Diet and Food Tracker from Lifesum AB had moderate weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.7K in early January. Downloads saw a peak of about 13K in the last week of March. The app's active users showed a steady increase, rising from 94K to over 195K throughout the quarter.
Zwift: Ride and Run from Zwift, Inc had relatively lower weekly downloads, peaking at just over 100. Weekly revenue fluctuated around $1.7K to $2.5K. Active users remained stable, hovering around the mid-300s throughout the quarter.
