The first quarter of 2023 saw some interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 food and diet tracking apps in Austria. Here's a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet experienced a peak in weekly revenue of approximately $54K during the first week of January, followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter with around $18.7K. Weekly downloads started strong at 7.6K in early January but gradually decreased to just under 3K by the end of March. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, hovering around 87K to 92K throughout the quarter.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting at $5.6K and reaching a high of $10.4K by the end of January. However, this was followed by a decline, closing the quarter at around $6.3K. Weekly downloads were modest, peaking at 2.5K in early January and settling at 1.5K by the end of March. The number of weekly active users remained fairly consistent, fluctuating between 61K and 86K.
CodeCheck: Food & Cosmetics saw a modest increase in weekly revenue, reaching a peak of $305 in late February. Weekly downloads varied, hitting a high of 2.6K in early March before settling at around 1.2K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users for CodeCheck increased from approximately 6.1K at the start of the year to around 8.8K in early March, before falling back to 6.7K by the end of March.
Lifesum: Diet and Food Tracker started the quarter with a weekly revenue of $4.2K, peaking at $8.3K in early January, then gradually declined to around $3.8K by the end of March. Weekly downloads were relatively steady, ranging from 638 to 1.5K throughout the quarter. The number of weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating between 27K and 37K.
Fastic: Food & Calorie Tracker had a notable peak in weekly revenue at approximately $6.6K in the first week of January, followed by a decline to around $2.4K by the end of March. Weekly downloads were highest at 2.5K in the first week of January, then stabilized around 850 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 10.4K to 8.2K over the same period.
