During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 food delivery services in Austria demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how these apps fared.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 5K in late December and peaking at over 20K in mid-January. The app's weekly active users increased steadily from 77.5K to a peak of approximately 120K in early March, before settling at around 103K by the end of the quarter.
Lieferando.at Order Food maintained a relatively stable download rate, averaging between 4.6K and 6.4K per week. Active users hovered around 75K throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations, peaking at 76.3K in early January and ending slightly lower at 71.9K in late March.
foodora AT: Food & Groceries experienced consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 3.7K to 4.7K. The app's active users remained stable, starting at 57.3K and ending the quarter at approximately 57.7K, with minor variations.
NORDSEE showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 706 in late December and peaking at nearly 2K in mid-March. Weekly active users also grew steadily, starting at around 2K and reaching over 3K by mid-March, before slightly declining to 3.1K at the end of the quarter.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery maintained a steady download rate, with weekly numbers fluctuating between 700 and 1.3K. The active user base showed a consistent trend, starting at 22.4K and peaking at 25.8K in early January, before stabilizing at around 24K towards the end of March.
