In the first quarter of 2023, the top five food delivery service apps in France showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how each app fared:
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 96.8K in mid-January and stabilizing around 73.8K by the end of March. The app's active users also showed a notable increase, reaching nearly 1.9M in early March before slightly declining to 1.5M by the end of the month.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging between 39.8K and 65.2K. The active user base remained strong, with numbers fluctuating between 1.9M and 2.2M, peaking at 2.1M in mid-February.
Jow - easy recipes & groceries experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting from 14.5K in late December and reaching up to 39.7K in early January. Active users saw a steady climb, from 179K at the start of the quarter to around 261K by mid-March.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping had a consistent download trend, with weekly downloads hovering around 21K to 24.5K. The app's active users showed robust growth, increasing from 518K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 554K by the end of March.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery displayed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 6.8K in late December and reaching around 12.4K by early March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 35.3K and 41.9K throughout the quarter.
