In Q1 2023, the top 5 insurance apps in Nigeria on a unified platform showed varied performance metrics. Below is a detailed look at their weekly downloads and trends.
Reliance Care experienced a steady number of downloads throughout the quarter. The app started with 869 downloads in the last week of December 2022 and saw a peak of approximately 2.1K downloads in the first week of February. By the end of March, downloads slightly decreased to around 1.7K.
Sanlam Nigeria had a consistent performance with a gradual increase in downloads. Beginning with 1.3K downloads in late December, it peaked at 1.9K in mid-January. The downloads slightly dipped in February but recovered to 1.7K by the end of March.
MyAXA Plus showed a downward trend in downloads over the quarter. Starting strong with 1.5K downloads in late December, the app peaked at 1.9K in early January. However, downloads declined to 781 by early March before seeing a slight recovery to 1.2K by the end of the quarter.
Hygeia Mobile had a more fluctuating download pattern. The app began with 155 downloads in late December and saw an increase to 546 in early January. Downloads varied but remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with 471 downloads in late March.
Bastion Mobile App experienced the lowest downloads among the top 5. Starting with 452 downloads in late December, the app's downloads dipped to as low as 96 in late February. However, it showed a slight recovery, ending the quarter with 246 downloads in late March.
