In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 insurance apps on a unified platform in Uruguay showed varied performance metrics. Here’s an in-depth look at their weekly downloads and active user trends.
Universal Assistance had a notable surge in weekly downloads, starting with 469 in late December and peaking at 1.7K in the final week of March. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users, growing from 798 at the end of December to approximately 1.5K by the end of Q1.
Seguros SURA Uruguay experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 194 at the end of December and dropping to 92 by the end of March.
Jolly super app by Sunday showed fluctuating download numbers, beginning with 96 downloads in late December, reaching a high of 169 in mid-March, and then settling at 103 by the end of the quarter.
BSE Rosario Contigo had relatively stable weekly downloads, starting at 76 in late December and ending at 99 in the last week of March.
La Segunda Seguros saw varied weekly downloads, with a peak of 144 in early February and concluding the quarter with 38 downloads in the first week of March.
