In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 music game applications in Nigeria showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at how each app fared.
Piano Fire: Edm Music & Piano from Adaric Music saw a steady but fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 24.7K in late December and ending at approximately 12.1K by the end of March. Weekly revenue for this app was relatively low, peaking at $15 in the last week of December and experiencing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, settling at $9 by the end of March. Meanwhile, weekly active users started at 67.8K and saw a general decline, ending the quarter at around 41K.
Piano Game: Classic Music Song by Dream Tiles Piano Game Studio experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at 17K in late December and concluding the quarter at 10.4K. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, peaking at 96K at the beginning of January and ending at approximately 72.5K by the end of March.
Music Tiles - Magic Tiles, published by Mofun Games, showed a similar pattern. Weekly downloads started at 12.2K in late December, fluctuating slightly, and ended at around 9.1K in late March. The app's weekly revenue was minimal, peaking at $22 in the first week of January and seeing negligible amounts in the subsequent weeks. Weekly active users started at 27K and, despite some fluctuations, ended the quarter at approximately 27.8K.
Magic Tiles 3 from AMANOTES PTE LTD had a more stable performance. Weekly downloads began at 12.9K in late December, experienced minor fluctuations, and ended the quarter at 9.1K. The app's weekly revenue saw a peak of $54 in mid-February and ended at $45 by the end of March. Weekly active users started at 99.8K and, despite minor fluctuations, remained robust, ending the quarter at approximately 91K.
Finally, Real Piano by Bilkon showed a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at 6K in late December and ending at 3.9K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 14.6K and concluding the quarter at around 10.9K.
