State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2023, the top five shopping apps in Tunisia exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement. Below, we delve into the performance of each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Alibaba.com experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 9.2K in early January and peaking at around 19.5K by mid-March. Active users also showed a positive trend, beginning the quarter at 268K and reaching close to 299K by the end of March.
Magasins Aziza had a significant spike in downloads in late January, hitting around 94K. However, this was followed by a steep decline, with weekly downloads dropping to around 1.1K by the end of March.
Jumia Online Shopping maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 10K and 14K. Active users showed minor variations, starting at 143K and ending the quarter with approximately 135K.
AliExpress Shopping App saw a dramatic increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, rising from 4.6K in early March to nearly 27K by mid-March. Active users followed a similar trend, jumping from 42K to 78K during the same period.
SHEIN - Shopping Online showed a consistent growth in weekly downloads, reaching around 4.9K by the end of March. Active users also grew steadily from 37K in late December to about 43K by the end of the quarter.
