During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 tools apps in Serbia exhibited varying performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy from Nord Security saw a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $366 in the week of January 23. The app's downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase peaking at 412 in the week of March 6. The revenue trend showed periods of both growth and decline, with a significant increase to $340 in mid-March.
Capture App - Photo Storage by Telenor Software Lab AS had consistent weekly revenue throughout the quarter, reaching a high of $214 in the final week of March. However, the app did not record any downloads during this period.
ExpressVPN: VPN Fast & Secure from ExpressVPN experienced variable weekly downloads, starting strong with 931 downloads in the first week of January and seeing a low of 438 in mid-March. Revenue also fluctuated, reaching $199 at the end of December and hitting a low of $95 in late February before ending the quarter with a steady $175.
Surfshark: Secure VPN service by Surfshark B.V. had a modest peak in weekly revenue at $326 during the last week of December. Downloads were fairly consistent, peaking at 220 in late January and maintaining a stable trend throughout the quarter.
Bitdefender Mobile Security from Bitdefender showed a varied revenue trend, starting at $90 in late December and peaking at $211 in the last week of January. The app did not record any downloads during the quarter.
