The first quarter of 2023 has shown significant activity in the travel and local category for mobile apps in Peru. Here’s a breakdown of the performance for the top 5 apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Turismocity Vuelos Baratos saw a varied performance in weekly downloads, starting at around 34.5K in late December 2022 and peaking at 42.7K in the first week of January. Downloads gradually declined to 6.2K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 42.9K and dropping to 16.4K by the end of the quarter.

Rida Taxi experienced a more consistent decline in weekly downloads, from 30.9K in late December to 8K in the last week of March.

SKY Airline had a stable download trend, starting at 5.2K in late December and reaching a high of 12.6K in early January. The app maintained an average of around 9K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from 37.8K to 46.4K over the same period.

LATAM Airlines showed consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between 7.3K and 10.7K. Active users remained stable, starting at 48.8K in late December and ending at 51.8K by the end of March.

Google Earth had a consistent increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.7K in late December and reaching a peak of 8.7K in mid-March. Active users also showed a positive trend, starting at 53.7K and peaking at 63K in mid-March before slightly decreasing to 58.1K by the end of the quarter.
