During the first quarter of 2023, the top word puzzle games in Norway showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, providing interesting insights into their performance on a unified platform.
Words of Wonders: Crossword from Fugo saw its weekly revenue generally stabilize around $3.3K, peaking at nearly $4K in the week of March 20. Weekly downloads varied, starting at 3.7K in late December and ending at approximately 2.4K by the end of March. The app's active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining around 13K to 14K throughout the quarter.
WordBrain: classic word puzzle by MAG Interactive had a diverse range of weekly revenue, from $350 at the start to peaking at $922 in early March. Weekly downloads were modest, mostly between 10 and 45. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 150 throughout the quarter.
Wordscapes from PeopleFun, Inc. experienced varied weekly revenue, peaking at $589 in the week of January 9 and tapering off to $169 by the end of March. Downloads started at 2.1K in late December, dropping to 722 by the end of March. Active users saw a slight decline from approximately 8.7K to 7.4K over the quarter.
Wordfeud by Bertheussen IT showed a gradual decline in weekly revenue from $570 at the end of December to $214 by the end of March. Weekly downloads decreased from 2.3K to 725 over the same period. Active users also showed a downward trend from about 20.4K to 18K by the end of March.
Kryss - The Battle of Words from Crossword & Sudoku LTD had a varied weekly revenue, peaking at $331 in late January and ending at $251 by the end of March. Downloads remained low, ranging from 12 to 80. Active users decreased from 887 at the end of December to 624 by the end of March.
