During the second quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 2D cartoon game applications on the Android platform in Lebanon showed interesting trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here, we delve into the specifics of each game’s performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Candy Crush Saga by King experienced a noticeable fluctuation in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $846 in the week of June 5. The game’s weekly downloads saw a general decline, starting from 14.7K in late March and dropping to around 5.4K by the end of June. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 144K to 160K throughout the quarter.
Top War: Battle Game from RiverGame showed a mixed performance. The game’s weekly revenue fluctuated, hitting a high of about $790 in early April and stabilizing around $383 by the end of June. Weekly downloads also varied, with a notable peak of 762 in early May, but dropping significantly to 65 by the last week of June. Active users experienced a downtrend, decreasing from 2.5K in late March to 1.1K by the end of June.
Royal Match by Dream Games, Ltd. saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $562 in mid-June. The game’s weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of 8.7K in late May, and settled around 5.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed growth, rising from 17.2K in late March to about 21.5K by the end of June.
Clash of Clans from Supercell had a varied performance in terms of revenue, with a significant peak of around $631 in early May. Weekly downloads remained fairly stable, with minor fluctuations, averaging around 2.5K to 3K throughout the quarter. The game maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users ranging between 152K and 174K.
Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG by Small Giant Games showed a decline in weekly revenue, starting from around $473 in late March and dropping to $205 by the end of June. The game’s weekly downloads were minimal, with no significant peaks after early May. Active users also decreased, from 213 in late March to 147 by the end of June.
