State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the second quarter of 2023, several beauty retail apps on the Android platform in Switzerland showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category according to Sensor Tower data.
Douglas – Parfüm & Kosmetik experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 440 in late March and settling around 247 by the end of June. Weekly active users also decreased over the quarter, beginning at approximately 2.1K and ending at around 1.7K.
BEAUTY BAY saw fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter. The app's weekly downloads ranged from a low of 9 in early April to a peak of 53 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a generally upward trend, growing from 175 at the start of the quarter to 237 by the end.
GLAMOUR Fashion Trends shoppen had a mixed performance with downloads peaking at 231 in early April before dropping to zero by mid-April. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 227 and decreasing to 68 by mid-April.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY demonstrated a positive trend in downloads, increasing from zero in late May to 54 by the end of June. Weekly active users also rose, from 23 in mid-June to 64 by the end of the month.
Marionnaud – Beauté & Soins had relatively low download numbers, starting at 20 in late March and fluctuating throughout the quarter, ending with 15 in late June.
