The second quarter of 2023 witnessed some intriguing trends among the top 5 gacha games on the Android platform in France. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Summoners War from Com2uS experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $264K in mid-April and ending the quarter at around $124K. Weekly downloads varied, reaching a high of nearly 1.9K in early April. Active users saw a peak of about 116K in mid-April but ended the quarter with a slight increase to around 111K.
DRAGON BALL LEGENDS by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. showed significant revenue peaks, with the highest being around $318K in late May. Weekly downloads increased notably in early June, reaching over 10K. Active users also saw a substantial rise, peaking at approximately 230K in early June.
Honkai: Star Rail, published by COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD., showed impressive initial revenue, peaking at about $292K in mid-May but declining to around $90K by the end of June. Downloads started strong at nearly 70K in late April but decreased to around 5.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at about 66K in early May and showed a slight decline to around 54K by the end of June.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, also from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., had a notable revenue peak of approximately $325K in early May. Weekly downloads remained steady, with a peak of around 4K in late June. Active users showed a consistent trend, peaking at around 120K in late June.
Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade from LilithGames saw stable revenue, peaking at about $130K in early April and ending the quarter at around $96K. Weekly downloads were relatively low, fluctuating between 700 and 4.7K. Active users showed a downward trend, peaking at approximately 136K in early April and decreasing to around 76K by the end of June.
