During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 investing and financial management apps on the Android platform in Kenya showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
IQ Option – Trading Platform saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 18.8K in the last week of June. Active users increased steadily, reaching around 97K by mid-June before settling at about 79K at the end of the quarter.
World App - Worldcoin Wallet experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads, from around 17.8K at the end of March to just over 4.4K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this decline, falling from approximately 34.8K to around 28.9K over the same period.
FxPro: Online Trading Broker exhibited a strong upward trend in downloads, starting from just 171 at the end of March and peaking at over 21.3K in late May. Active users also surged, reaching a high of around 32.2K in mid-June before ending the quarter at approximately 24.3K.
FBS – Trading Broker showed a significant decline in downloads, dropping from around 17.8K in late March to just 1.7K by the end of June. Active users decreased correspondingly, falling from approximately 60.4K to about 19.3K over the quarter.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a relatively steady download rate, with minor fluctuations, and ended the quarter with around 5.6K downloads in the last week of June. Active users remained strong, peaking at approximately 145K by the end of June.
