In the second quarter of 2023, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in Brazil showcased dynamic performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a detailed look at how these apps fared:
SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a fluctuating download trend, peaking at over 1M downloads in mid-May. Weekly downloads ranged from 713K to 1M throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping from 15.4M in late May to 14.1M by the end of June.
Shopee: 9.9 Super Shopping Day demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, with a significant rise from 358K at the end of March to nearly 571K by the end of June. Active user numbers remained robust, reaching approximately 19M by the end of the quarter.
Mercado Libre: Compras online maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads hovering around 300K to 330K. The app saw a slight fluctuation in active users, peaking at about 17.5M in mid-April before settling at around 16.8M by the end of June.
Magalu: loja e compras online showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, rising from 213K in late April to approximately 312K in early June. Active users also saw an upward trend, reaching around 4.8M in early June before a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.
AliExpress - Shopping App recorded a steady increase in downloads, with numbers climbing from 173K at the end of March to 333K in mid-June. Active users peaked at approximately 11.8M in mid-June, before slightly declining to around 10.4M by the end of the quarter.
