In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 consumer finance apps on iOS in Spain showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
BBVA Spain | Online banking saw a steady download trend throughout the quarter. Starting at approximately 11.8K downloads in late March, the app's downloads dipped slightly but picked up again, reaching around 12.1K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed fluctuations, starting at about 705K and ending the quarter with a peak of roughly 750K.
Tricount - Split group bills experienced variable revenue trends, peaking at around $130 in mid-April. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 7.3K in late March and ending at approximately 11K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also showed an upward trend, beginning at 18.5K and reaching around 22.6K by the quarter's end.
imagin: More than mobile bank maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 8K and peaking at about 8.9K in late June. Active users saw a slight rise, beginning at around 504K and reaching approximately 523K by the quarter's end.
CaixaBankNow also showed steady download numbers, starting at about 8.9K and ending the quarter at roughly 8.9K. Weekly active users fluctuated but ended on a high note, starting at around 949K and reaching approximately 968K by the end of June.
Santander saw download numbers fluctuate slightly, starting at about 7.8K and peaking at approximately 8.7K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a general upward trend, beginning at around 343K and ending at roughly 348K.
