In Q2 2023, the top five dating apps on iOS in the Netherlands saw varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a breakdown of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced a steady revenue stream, peaking at around $62K in mid-June. Weekly downloads saw a significant spike in early May, reaching over 4.2K, while weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 54.1K at the end of May.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained strong revenue figures, with a high of approximately $264K in late April. The app's weekly downloads remained consistent, peaking at 3.3K in late June. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 128K in late March and ending at around the same figure by the end of June.
Wink - Meet New People App showed moderate revenue trends, peaking at about $2.1K in mid-June. Downloads decreased steadily, from 5.1K in late March to 721 by the end of June. Active users saw a slight dip, starting at 83.8K in late March and ending at 66.5K by the end of June.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet had stable revenue, peaking at about $7.1K in late June. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight peak of 1.8K in early May. Active users hovered around 13.7K throughout the quarter.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends displayed steady revenue, reaching approximately $29.7K in mid-June. Downloads were consistent, with a peak of 1.6K in mid-June. Active users showed a minor fluctuation, starting at about 50K in late March and ending at 45.9K by the end of June.
