During the second quarter of 2023, the top entertainment mascot games on iOS in Italy showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview based on Sensor Tower's data.
Angry Birds Dream Blast by Rovio Entertainment Oyj exhibited a notable decline in both weekly revenue and active users. Weekly revenue started strong at around $4.4K in late March but gradually decreased to approximately $3.6K by the end of June. Weekly downloads mirrored this downward trend, starting at 1.7K and dropping to as low as 145 by mid-June. Active users also saw a decline from 12.5K to 9.5K over the quarter.
Disney Emoji Blitz Game from Jam City, Inc. showed fluctuating revenue trends, with weekly earnings ranging from $798 to $2K. Downloads remained relatively stable, varying between 210 and 629 throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around the 1.2K mark, maintaining a steady engagement.
Angry Birds Match 3, another title from Rovio Entertainment Oyj, maintained consistent revenue, averaging around $640 weekly. The game saw a significant spike in downloads in late May, reaching 308, although other weeks showed minimal activity. Active users increased notably in late May, peaking at 244.
Angry Birds POP! also by Rovio Entertainment Oyj experienced steady weekly revenue, fluctuating between $212 and $366. Downloads were minimal, with occasional peaks like 51 in mid-May. Active users remained consistent, averaging around 37 to 52.
Lastly, Sonic Forces PvP Racing Battle from SEGA had a stable performance in terms of revenue, ranging from $131 to $250 weekly. Downloads showed a steady increase, reaching up to 699 by the end of June. Active users exhibited a consistent upward trend, starting from 6.7K and ending at 7K.
