In Q2 2023, the top five puzzle games on iOS in the United States demonstrated notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into the performance of these popular applications.
June’s Journey: Hidden Objects saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $1.4M in mid-May and ending June with approximately $1.2M. Weekly downloads exhibited a downward trend, starting at 28K in early April and dropping to around 19K by the end of June. The game’s weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 200K throughout the quarter.
Angry Birds 2 experienced a consistent performance. Weekly revenue ranged from $455K to $597K, with a notable increase in early June reaching $543K. Downloads varied, starting at 74K in early April and peaking at 92K in mid-June. Active users showed some fluctuations but remained strong, averaging around 1.4M throughout the quarter.
Wordscapes maintained solid metrics. Weekly revenue was relatively steady, averaging around $500K. Downloads saw a significant spike, particularly in late June, reaching over 212K. Active users remained robust, with numbers averaging around 1.1M to 1.2M during the quarter.
Words With Friends 2 Word Game showed mixed trends. Weekly revenue peaked at $596K in early April and saw another high of $552K in early June. Downloads were stable, ranging from 18K to 22K. Active users saw a decrease from around 830K in early April to approximately 723K by the end of June.
Seekers Notes: Hidden Objects exhibited varied performance. Weekly revenue was consistent, averaging around $330K. Downloads showed a decline, starting at 13K in early April and dropping to around 6K by the end of June. Active users also decreased, from 17K in early April to around 11K by the end of June.
