In Q2 2023, the top 5 apparel apps in the United States exhibited significant trends in downloads and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of these popular apps:
SHEIN - Shopping Online had a strong presence in the market with weekly downloads fluctuating between 687K and 872K. The app maintained a high level of engagement, with weekly active users ranging from 14.2M to 16.9M, peaking in the week of May 29.
Nike: Shoes, Apparel, Stories observed steady weekly downloads, averaging around 210K. Active users showed variability, with a notable high of 4.0M in the week of May 8, before stabilizing around 3.5M towards the end of the quarter.
GOAT – Sneakers & Apparel experienced a moderate download rate, with weekly numbers ranging from 79K to 118K. Active user metrics demonstrated growth, peaking at 2.5M in mid-June, reflecting increasing user engagement.
CIDER - Clothing & Fashion showed fluctuating download numbers, with a high of 116K in early April and a low of 67K by the end of June. The app's active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 400K throughout the quarter.
Nike SNKRS: Sneaker Release saw weekly downloads decline from 101K in mid-April to 32K by late June. Active users also decreased over the quarter, from a high of 1.7M in mid-April to 818K by the end of June.
