During Q2 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Sweden showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here is a detailed look at the numbers for these leading apps.
Bolt: Request a Ride saw a strong upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 7.9K in late March and peaking at 15.3K by the end of June. The app also maintained a steady increase in active users, growing from approximately 100.5K to 110.4K over the same period.
Uber - Request a ride experienced consistent growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 6.4K and reaching 13.8K by the end of Q2. The app's active users also showed a significant increase, rising from around 302.8K to 366.8K.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a more modest performance in weekly downloads, starting at 359 and increasing to 503 by the end of June. Active users for this app remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 8K mark throughout the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a gradual rise in weekly downloads, from 303 in late March to 532 by the end of June. The app's active users also grew steadily, from 1.5K to 2.1K during the same period.
Cabify showed steady growth in weekly downloads, starting at 238 and peaking at 513 by late June. Active users for Cabify increased from approximately 1.4K to 2.3K over the quarter.
