During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 consumer finance apps in Portugal showed varied performance metrics on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue trends.
Santander Portugal saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting with 6.7K in late March and peaking at 7.3K in the last week of May before ending the quarter at 6.9K. The app maintained a steady user base with weekly active users ranging from 361.9K to 408.2K, showing an increase towards the end of the quarter.
Caixadirecta experienced a similar trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 6.8K and reaching a peak of 7K in the last week of May. The app's weekly active users consistently hovered around 400K, with a notable increase to 428.1K in late April and stabilizing at 418.6K by the end of June.
Millenniumbcp had a relatively stable download rate, starting at 5.9K in late March, with minor fluctuations, and ended the quarter at 5.1K. The app’s weekly active users remained steady, ranging from 251.8K to 264.1K, showing minor variations throughout the quarter.
novobanco displayed consistent weekly downloads, starting at 5.1K and ending at 4.5K. The active user base for novobanco remained quite stable, with weekly active users ranging from 144.1K to 160.1K, peaking in mid-June.
Universo - Mobile Banking had weekly downloads that began at 3.7K and reached up to 4.3K by the end of the quarter. The app’s weekly active users showed a steady trend, moving from 16.8K in late March to 17.1K at the end of June.
