The second quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the Delivered Meal Kits and Specialty Foods app category in Spain. Below, we explore the performance of the top 5 apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Aquaservice demonstrated a steady increase in weekly downloads. Starting from around 3.7K at the end of March, the app reached approximately 6.6K weekly downloads by the end of June. The app also saw a rise in weekly active users, growing from 16.7K to around 20K during the same period. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this quarter.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced a mixed trend in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.5K in early April before gradually declining to around 587 by the end of June. HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery saw relatively stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 405 and 602 throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 6.9K to 8.4K by the end of June. Similar to Aquaservice, HelloFresh did not record any revenue during this period.
Bene Bono had a modest performance in terms of weekly downloads, with numbers varying between 38 and 302. The app did not record any active users or revenue data for this quarter.
CrowdFarming also had low weekly downloads, peaking at 49 in mid-April and stabilizing around 33 by the end of June. Similar to Bene Bono, CrowdFarming did not have any active users or revenue data available for this period.
