In the second quarter of 2023, the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Italy showed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how these apps fared.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 81.5K in mid-June. The app began the quarter with around 57.3K downloads and experienced a notable surge in early June. Active users also rose steadily from 1.9M at the end of March to over 2M by the end of June.
Burger King Italia maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads hovering around 20K. The highest downloads were recorded in the last week of June at 23.8K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 200K and slightly increasing to 207K by the end of June.
KFC Italia experienced a moderate fluctuation in weekly downloads, with a peak of 15.3K in late April and a decline towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 9.7K. Active users saw a slight dip from 86.7K in early April to 81.9K at the end of June.
LA Piadineria had varied performance in downloads, with a notable peak of 7.1K in late March and another rise to 6.7K at the end of May. The app’s weekly downloads fluctuated, reflecting a dynamic user interest over the quarter.
MyPanini™ showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at 2.1K in late March and dropping to just above 230 by the end of June. The active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from nearly 8K in late March to around 4.6K by the end of the quarter.
