In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 insurance applications in Europe showed varied performance across downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared:
Compte ameli by l'Assurance Maladie saw a consistent performance in weekly downloads, starting at around 63.9K in late March and reaching approximately 67.5K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 377K and ending the quarter at around 337K.
Hastings Direct Insurance from Hastings Direct Limited experienced a steady download rate, beginning with approximately 24.7K in late March and closing at 21.2K in the last week of June. Active users demonstrated a stable trend, starting at 61.5K and maintaining around 60.8K towards the quarter's end.
Meine AOK by AOK Bundesverband showed a varied download pattern, with a low of 17.8K in mid-May and peaking at 25.4K in the final week of June. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 151.9K and ending the quarter at approximately 142.6K.
Dôvera, published by DÔVERA zdravotná poisťovňa, a. s., had a notable increase in downloads, starting at 14.2K in late March and reaching a peak of 21.6K in late April. The app ended the quarter with around 16.2K weekly downloads.
Lastly, TK-App from Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) showed a steady download rate, starting at 27.3K in late March and closing the quarter at around 19.3K. The active user base remained consistent, starting at 186.6K and ending at approximately 180.5K.
