The second quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 planes games on a unified platform in the United States. Here’s a closer look at how each game fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
1945 - Airplane shooting game from ONESOFT GLOBAL PTE. LTD. experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue reached a peak of approximately $116K in the week of June 19, despite a mid-quarter dip to around $76K in early June. Weekly downloads showed a significant spike towards the end of June, reaching 84K in the final week. The game also saw a steady increase in weekly active users, peaking at around 304K by the end of the quarter.
BoomBit, Inc.'s Crazy Plane Landing had a varied performance. Weekly revenue saw a gradual decline, dipping to around $408 in late May before a slight rebound to $647 in the last week of June. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 38K in early May and ending the quarter with 34K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 168K.
Sky Warriors: Airplane Games by Wildlife Studios showed consistent performance in terms of revenue, peaking at around $65K in early June. Weekly downloads were more volatile, with a notable drop to 20K in mid-June before recovering to 24K by the end of the month. Active users remained fairly steady, ending the quarter with approximately 71K.
Plane Evolution! from SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD saw fluctuating download numbers, starting strong with 50K in late March but dropping to around 6K by the end of May. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at around 136K at the beginning of April and ending the quarter with approximately 134K.
Finally, Airline Commander: Flight Game by RORTOS SRL had a mixed quarter. Revenue saw a gradual decline, starting at around $10K in late March and ending at about $5K in the last week of June. Downloads experienced a significant spike in late May, reaching 22K, before stabilizing to around 16K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at around 56K in early June and ending the quarter at approximately 53K.
