The second quarter of 2023 saw significant activity among the top social networking apps in Turkey. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top five applications.
Azar - Video Chat experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 88.8K in the last week of June. Weekly revenue showed a slight decline, starting at around $181K at the end of March and ending at approximately $157K. However, weekly active users rose steadily, reaching 566.6K by the end of the quarter.
Tango - Live Stream, Go Live had fluctuating weekly downloads, with a high of 46.5K in early May and a low of 26.5K in mid-April. Weekly revenue saw a downward trend, starting at $158.5K and ending at $119K. The app maintained a stable number of weekly active users, peaking at approximately 406.8K in the first week of May.
Connected2.me - Chat & Meet had relatively stable weekly downloads, with minor fluctuations around 11K to 17K. Weekly revenue showed a slight decrease, starting at $71.2K and ending at $66.6K. Weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 200K, with a slight peak at 220.9K in mid-June.
BIGO LIVE-Live Stream, Go Live saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 61.8K in the last week of June. Weekly revenue was relatively stable, averaging around $74K. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, peaking at 825.9K by the end of the quarter.
MatchPub - Live Video Chat experienced an increase in weekly downloads, reaching 56.2K in early May. Weekly revenue showed a consistent upward trend, peaking at $37.4K in the last week of June. Weekly active users increased steadily, reaching 261.7K by the end of June.
