During the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in Oman showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
SalamAir SalamAir saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 677 in late June and peaking at 1.1K in mid-July. However, by the end of September, downloads had declined to approximately 302.
Oman Air Oman Air’s downloads began at 356 in late June, gradually increasing to 746 in mid-July. The app saw a slight dip in downloads towards the end of August but recovered to 376 by the last week of September. Active users for Oman Air showed a steady increase from 1.9K in late June to 2.2K by the end of September.
Qatar Airways Qatar Airways experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads, particularly in late August, reaching a high of 1.2K. This surge was followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter with 429 downloads. Active users also saw a significant increase from 873 in late June to a peak of 1.9K in early September, before settling at 1.3K by the end of the month.
Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save Wizz Air had a moderate performance with weekly downloads peaking at 676 in early July. The numbers showed a gradual decline, ending the quarter at around 232 downloads. Active users also saw a decrease from 1.1K in late June to 922 by the end of September.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker Flightradar24 Flight Tracker maintained a steady download rate, starting at 299 in late June and ending at 236 by the end of September. Revenue for the app varied throughout the quarter, peaking at $116 in mid-September. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 700 throughout the quarter.
