In the third quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Georgia showed a variety of trends in weekly downloads. Here is a detailed look at how these apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 10K downloads in late June, the numbers decreased to around 7K by late August. However, the app saw a significant rebound, reaching nearly 14.5K downloads in the final week of September.
Bolt: Request a Ride showed a relatively stable pattern with a notable spike in September. Weekly downloads hovered around 1.1K to 1.7K for most of the quarter, but surged to over 3.3K in the last week of September.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at around 444 downloads in late June, the app saw minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with 390 downloads in the last week of September.
inDrive. Save on city rides had a somewhat declining trend in weekly downloads. From 330 downloads in late June, the numbers gradually decreased to just over 200 by the end of September.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus also showed a downward trend in downloads. Starting at 176 downloads in late June, the app's numbers dipped to 143 by the end of September, with a noticeable drop to 107 downloads in mid-September.
