The third quarter of 2023 saw intriguing trends for the top 5 dinosaur-themed games on the Android platform in Saudi Arabia. Let's delve into the performance of each game, drawing insights from Sensor Tower data.
Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc. experienced a fluctuating performance. Revenue peaked at $158 in early August and late August, with a notable drop to $9 in mid-July. Weekly downloads started strong at 5.1K in late June but fell significantly, landing at just 111 by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline from 5K in early July to around 1.5K by the end of September.
Jurassic World™: The Game, another title from Jam City, Inc., demonstrated steadier trends. Revenue hovered around $50 to $85 throughout the quarter. Downloads showed a slight increase towards the end, peaking at 400 in the last week of September. Active users maintained a relatively stable range, fluctuating between 1.1K and 1.6K.
ARK: Survival Evolved from Studio Wildcard saw declining trends across most metrics. Revenue saw a sharp decline, from $96 in late June to just $14 by the end of September. Downloads decreased from 710 to 195 over the quarter. Active users dropped significantly, from 2.8K in late June to about 1.4K by the end of September.
Merge Master: Dinosaur Monster by Homa had a more mixed performance. Revenue spiked to $128 in early September but later dropped to $15 by the end of the month. Downloads were strong initially, with a peak of 8.8K in late July, but declined to around 4.1K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 37.3K in late July and ending the quarter at 28.6K.
Dino Squad: Dinosaur Shooter from MY.GAMES B.V. showed minimal activity. Revenue was highest at $81 in mid-August but dropped significantly afterwards. Active users saw a steady decline from 175 in late June to 100 by the end of September.
