State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 business apps on iOS in Europe demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder
LinkedIn saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 160K in late June and reaching a peak of around 203K by the end of September. Revenue trends for the app were relatively stable, with weekly revenue fluctuating between approximately $1.3M and $1.5M. Active user numbers also showed a positive trend, growing from 4.2M to 4.3M over the quarter.
Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF
Adobe Acrobat Reader exhibited a steady rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 105K and climbing to 131K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at around $276K in the final week of September. Active users also increased steadily from 4.6M to nearly 5M.
iScanner experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 47K and ending the quarter at approximately 37K. The app's weekly revenue remained relatively stable, ranging between $146K and $162K. However, the number of active users saw a decline from 103K to around 93K.
Zoom Workplace showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, from 162K in late June to a peak of 246K by the end of September. The app's weekly revenue also saw an upward trend, reaching approximately $101K in the final week. Active users grew from 2.2M to 2.7M over the quarter.
Invoice Simple displayed a mixed performance in weekly downloads, peaking at 2.2K in late July and then fluctuating around 1.5K towards the end of September. The app's weekly revenue increased steadily, reaching about $82K in the last week of September. Active users showed a slight decline, moving from 5.6K to 4.5K throughout the quarter.
