In the third quarter of 2023, the top geolocation games on iOS in Malta displayed diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Pokémon GO from Niantic, Inc. saw significant fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.2K in the week of August 21. Weekly downloads also experienced a steady increase, starting at 21 in late June and reaching 89 by the end of September.
Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc. had modest revenue figures, with a notable peak of $58 in the week of July 3. Weekly downloads remained relatively low, with a slight increase to 5 in the week of August 21.
Monster Hunter Now, also from Niantic, Inc., launched in mid-September and quickly garnered attention. Weekly revenue was consistent at $102 in its initial weeks, while downloads showed a minor fluctuation, starting at 79 and settling at 62 by the end of the month.
ZRX: Zombies Run + Marvel Move from Six to Start did not perform as strongly in revenue, with a notable peak of $66 in the week of July 10, and no significant downloads recorded throughout the quarter.
Pikmin Bloom, another title from Niantic, Inc., experienced low revenue figures, peaking at $23 in the last week of September. The game’s weekly downloads were minimal, with only a single download recorded in mid-July.
