Sensor Tower has released its data on the performance of the top five auto applications on a unified platform in Nigeria for Q3 2023. Here’s a detailed look:
Copart - Online Auto Auctions from Copart saw a varied performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $132 in the week of August 28. Weekly downloads showed a declining trend from 3.9K in late June to 649 by the end of September. Active users decreased from 8.9K to around 4.2K over the same period.
Used cars for sale - Trovit experienced a steady increase in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 1.8K in the first week of September before dipping to 1.1K by the end of the month. Active users followed a similar trend, rising to 1.8K in early September and then slightly decreasing to 1.3K by the end of the quarter.
CarsPlenty: Buy & Sell Cars Ng showed a dramatic spike in downloads, hitting 4.9K in the week of July 24. However, this was followed by a sharp decline, stabilizing at around 28 downloads by the end of September.
Driver's Licence CBT Nigeria from Pineapple Studio Pty Ltd saw consistent downloads throughout the quarter, peaking at 866 in the last week of August.
Autochek - Auto Sales & Loans had a relatively steady download rate, with a notable increase to 822 downloads in the first week of September before settling at 442 by the end of the quarter.
