In Q3 2023, several beauty retail apps in Russia showcased varied performance metrics on a unified platform, combining both iOS and Android data. Below are the detailed insights for the top five beauty retail applications, sourced from Sensor Tower.
ИЛЬ ДЕ БОТЭ косметика и духи demonstrated a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 9.8K downloads and reaching a peak of 13.8K in mid-August. The app closed the quarter with around 10K downloads per week. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 51.3K and ending at 47.7K.
Notino: perfumes and cosmetics had a relatively modest presence in the market. Weekly downloads varied significantly, with a low of 8 in late July and a peak of 237 in late June. Active users decreased gradually from 1.2K at the start of the quarter to approximately 679 by the end of September.
Nykaa - Beauty Shopping App maintained a low but steady download rate, ranging from 20 to 46 downloads per week. Active users saw a gradual increase from 84 at the beginning of the quarter to 160 in early August, before stabilizing around 103 by the end of September.
Nykaa Fashion – Shopping App showed a similar trend with downloads fluctuating between 19 and 39 per week. Active users started at 53 and saw a peak of 79 in late July, eventually declining to 37 by the end of September.
LOOKFANTASTIC -Beauty Shopping experienced a sharp decline in weekly downloads, from 294 at the beginning of the quarter to just 36 in early July. Active users also decreased significantly, starting at 1.9K and dropping to 399 by the end of September.
