The third quarter of 2023 has seen varying performances for the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps in Sweden. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride from BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU experienced some fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with around 15.2K and dipping to approximately 6.8K by mid-September, before recovering to 9.4K in the last week. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 110K and ending close to 109K.

Uber - Request a ride saw a similar pattern. Downloads began at 13.8K, dropped to around 6.6K by mid-September but surged to 10.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, beginning at 367K and peaking at 401K in the final week.

Cabify from Maxi Mobility, Inc. had modest download numbers, starting at 513 and declining to 295 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.3K and ending at around 2.1K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver also showed a steady performance in downloads, starting at 503 and ending at 419. Active users remained consistent throughout the quarter, hovering around 8K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus from Comuto maintained a steady download rate, starting at 532 and ending at 301. Active users showed a slight increase, beginning at 2.1K and reaching 2.4K by the end of the quarter.
